About SBC | Shore Bike Camps
Shore Bike Camps began in the birth place of North Shore style riding – at the base of Mt. seymour – in the fog and damp forest of Deep Cove.
SBC was founded in 2007 by the mother / son team Erin and Marlowe Northcott. Both life-long North Shore residents where playing in the outdoors is a way of life – one they are happy to share.
Marlowe has been riding the local trails for around 17 years and instructing bike classes for over a decade. In addition; for over 10 years, he’s taught skiing and coached ski-race programmes. In his spare time he back-country skis, kayaks and runs.
Some of his certifications include: CSIA, CSCF, NCCP and Wilderness First Aid.
With over 30 years in sales and marketing; Erin is the client-care specialist. Seven years of handling the finish line duties for the North Shore High school Mt. Bike League, assisting with the Tots ski lessons up Mt. Seymour and many other volunteer activities have allowed her to pass on her love of the outdoors and teach kids to appreciate the opportunities in our own backyard.
